Project: Teacher4.0 - comprehensive method of implementation of Industry 4.0
concept into didactic practice in primary and secondary schools
with industrial automation, which integrates mechanical and electronic systems and also the
evolution of digital computing developed between the 50s and 70s of the twentieth century.
Figure 1: Industrial Evolution
The impact of Industry 4.0 reveals itself in a particular way, in the limitation of jobs by human beings,
being partially replaced by robots commanded by artificial intelligence, intelligence capable of
making decisions without human mediation, requiring increasingly higher qualifications as well as an
increase in human-machine interaction, bringing significant changes in the nature of the work
performed (Figure 2).
So, it becomes vital for the new generations to understand the importance of using the tools of this
industry, having as a consequence the need to access them. This will be one of the purposes of the
second part of this module, in which we will try to build and program low-cost electronic
components and robots that can facilitate that learning.
